Where to start
Most of what people come to Goa for sits in the north, a short drive from where our homes are: the beaches from Candolim and Baga up through Anjuna, Vagator and Morjim, and the laterite forts that guard the coast at Aguada, Reis Magos and Chapora. Inland, the old churches and the Wednesday flea market at Anjuna show the Portuguese and the hippie layers of the place. A good day here starts at a fort while it is cool, spends the afternoon on a beach and ends on a headland for the sunset.
