Melasti Beach

Melasti is known first for the way you get there: a pale limestone canyon road that drops to the sea. At the bottom is a wide, bright beach with water calm enough to swim, which sets it apart from Bingin and Padang Padang.

Swimmers and families on the public sand, a beach-club crowd at the developed end, and a steady stream of cars stopping on the cliff road for photos. Busier and more built-up than the wilder beaches.

Easy vehicle access and parking, calmer water for swimming, and more amenities than most Bukit beaches. Expect crowds on weekends and holidays.

The Ungasan clifftop resorts and clubs are close, and Green Bowl and Pandawa beaches are a short drive along the south coast.
