The place
Dreamland is a broad, open beach at the foot of the Pecatu estate. It has none of the tucked-away cove feel of Bingin or Padang Padang, but it makes up for it in size and in a shore break that is genuinely fun on the right day.
What to expect
Surfers and bodyboarders on the break, sunbathers on the wide sand, and warungs behind. The water can be powerful, with a shore dump and rip, so it rewards strong swimmers and caution from everyone else.
Good to know
Access and parking come through the Pecatu development, the walk down is manageable, and the sand is busiest at midday. Watch the flags and the current before you swim.

Bingin and Balangan are a short drive up the coast, and the Pecatu clifftop and New Kuta golf area sit directly above.
