Getting Around
Uddo lies just off the road near Siolim, roughly a 30-minute walk from Siolim market and a short scooter ride from the village centre. Because it is tucked away and signposting is limited, a rented two-wheeler with maps is the easiest way to find it; taxis and app cabs (Goa Miles) will bring you but the last stretch is quiet and narrow. From Mapusa a taxi is generally in the ₹400–₹600 range, and more from Panaji.
Local Tips
Treat Uddo as a sunset-and-quiet stop rather than a full beach day. Bring your own water and snacks, as there are few or no facilities on the sand. Do not count on it for open-sea swimming — the water carries currents, so keep any dip to the shallows and within your depth, and it is better enjoyed for a walk or a calm-water kayak on the river.
