Marbela sits on the low-key northern stretch of Morjim beach, set back from the Morjim-Ashwem road inside the Marbela Beach Resort. It is the polished, aspirational end of the Morjim scene: a crisp all-white club with a pool, rows of sunbeds and curtained cabanas running down toward the sand, and a champagne-terrace lounge that fills up for sunset. The pace is deliberately unhurried through the day, families and couples drifting between the pool and the beach, before the music turns up and the crowd gets younger and dressier at night.

The in-house nightclub, Club M, is the reason many people make the trip up from Anjuna, Vagator and Baga. It has a direct beach entrance, a separate dance floor and a more lounge-like sit-out area, and it draws a well-heeled North Goa crowd on its bigger party nights. What you get in return for the trek and the spend is space and a genuinely beautiful setting rather than a heaving, packed-in club night.

Be honest with yourself about the cost. Drinks and beds carry a premium-resort markup, cabanas can require a minimum spend, and Morjim's remoteness means a long taxi at either end. If you want a raucous, cheap night, this is not it; if you want a good-looking day-to-night club with room to breathe, it delivers.
