Uzbekistan features a sharply continental climate, characterized by significant temperature variations. Summers are very hot, often exceeding 40°C, especially in the lowlands and deserts, with low humidity making the heat more bearable. Winters are cool to cold, with average January temperatures around -1°C to -3°C, though they can drop much lower. Rainfall is scarce, averaging 100-200 mm annually, primarily falling in winter and spring.
