Accra's climate is tropical, characterized by consistently warm temperatures throughout the year. You'll find two main seasons: a hotter, dry period from December to February, and a rainy season from April to October. The city is located in one of Ghana's driest coastal areas, meaning rainfall, while present, isn't as abundant as in some inland regions. The Harmattan wind, a dry, dusty wind from the Sahara, can be felt during the dry season, particularly in January, bringing lower humidity. Despite the variations, the weather remains generally pleasant, inviting outdoor activities for much of the year.
